Revelation of John (2017)

The Revelation of John (RoJ) Redemption CCG Expansion Set introduces 129 new and re-printed characters, enhancements, and artifacts from the Bible to bring more strategy and excitement to your Redemption® games.

This set introduces the Reserve into the game and some AMAZING new cards and combos.

This set contains 3 ultra-rare, 36 rare, and 90 common cards. Additionally, at Nationals boxes were offered with alternate border cards for every card in the set. The Ultra-Rare ones can be found below.

Each card box contains four (4) Revelation of John cards and eleven (11) cards from the Rock of Ages, Faith of Our Fathers and Priests. The approximate card mix is as follows:

• 4 Revelation of John cards (1 Ultra-Rare or Rare and 3 Commons cards) (random)

• 5 Priests cards (random)​

• 3 Faith of Our Fathers cards (random)

• 3 Rock of Ages cards (random)

Introduction
The Reserve

Reserve
1.) The reserve must contain between 0-10 cards.
2.) You must have a written list of the cards in the Reserve for each deck.
3.) Your deck + reserve must be a legal deck (ignoring Lost Soul to deck ratio rule as it applies to cards in the reserve).
4.) If you check in more than one deck, each deck must have its own Reserve.
5.) You check in the Reserve with your deck at the start of the event.
6.) At the time it's checked in, the reserve cannot contain Dominants or Lost Soul cards (the “Hopper” Lost Soul does not count towards Lost Soul deck building requirements and maybe be included in the reserve).
7.) The Reserve is kept separate from your deck during game play.
8.) Each player's Reserve may only be viewed by the owner unless a special ability allows another player to view it.
9.) Only cards that specifically mention the Reserve can target cards in the Reserve.
​10.) Your deck and reserve must be reset to their original state after each game.

3 Favorites

Some of the best cards in the game are neutral and good cards. Being able to negate them and making it CBI after activated is quite good especially if you play a deck that gets value from having an Idol active.

Darkness lost soul has been a staple since it came out. Drawing this in the opening and being able to grab the best evil character you need is hard to match.

I'm not a fan of picking two lost souls for my favorites, but it's hard not to with Revelation of John. Humble and Darkness both are still being used in almost every meta deck 10 years after release. This card speaks for itself.
